The Equity Girls are a community that strives to uphold ideals of equity and justice in the larger society. Equity acknowledges that we do not all begin in the same place and requires us to compensate for any inequalities that result from this fact. Additionally, equity is the ownership of assets less the amount owed on obligations. As a result, the mission of Equity Girls is to establish a community that encourages and promotes equality as well as financial prosperity for all girls and women.

Through The Equity Girls Community, our mission is to provide women and girls with equitable access to opportunities. We hope to see girls and women receiving assistance from men and women, as well as from schools and businesses. If young girls are given unrestricted access to opportunities from an early age, they will mature into intelligent, kind, generous, and successful adults who advocate for the rights of other girls and women.
