Ancient Persia
In the opulent halls of the Sassanid court, young Prince Khosrow stumbled upon a portrait that would forever alter his fate. The painting was of Shirin, a radiant Armenian princess, her image luminous and captivating. Struck by love, Khosrow yearned to find his muse. Shirin, meanwhile, lived in a realm of grace and elegance, but fate soon called her towards Persia.
The journey brought her beneath moonlit skies where destiny unfolded their first, magical meeting. Yet, as their romance blossomed, the tendrils of political strife threatened their union. Betrayal from within Khosrow’s court sought to cleave them apart, challenges testing Khosrow’s resolve and Shirin’s heart.
Each separation only strengthened their love, as Khosrow crafted melodies and verse in honor of Shirin, while she battled internal conflict, ever faithful to her prince. Tragedy struck when Khosrow fell, his life stolen by treachery. With a heart shattered, Shirin’s devotion led her to join him in the eternal; her final sacrifice a testament to their everlasting bond. As Persian strings play softly, delicate visuals unfurl a timeless tale of love, longing, and destiny.
